Daniel's humanity shines through this hour of charming, funny and poignant songs, delivered in a lovely understated way on his Yamalka organ!
He made me tap my feet along to some songs, laugh at others and cry at one. Properly cry too.
We saw 15 shows in 54 hours and there were some very good ones in there but Daniel's was my favourite.

Swept away in a story of the past, tradition and ancestry sung and spoken powerfully and poignantly. It was just beautiful. I enjoyed every moment. Not to be missed

No trip to the Fringe is complete without spending an hour with Daniel Cainer. He makes you laugh. He brings you to tears. He is a superb storyteller using his original songs to bring the stories to life. He is simply - wonderful.

Daniel is a consummate performer. Great songs beautifully performed. It is a shame that the title of the show may deter non Jews. Daniel's songs are universal.

So this was the surprise hit of our trip to the fringe. My 15 year old and I really enjoyed the gentle storytelling, often funny, occasionally sad and reflective but always genuine. I laughed and I cried. Made a very welcome change from 'comedians' F-bombing and incessantly taking about sex. Definitely recommend.

Daniel Cainer is a brilliant storyteller and musician. The show really takes you by surprise. We even teared up a little, and then laughed ourselves silly. Brilliant show- go and see it!
