Citadel Arts Group present Dancing with Mrs Murphy, an edgy new play by Vincent Maguire, directed by Mark Kydd. Rose Murphy, an unmarried mother, escaped Ireland before WWII. In 1956 the Suez Crisis signals the end of the British Empire. Rose is about to be all shook up by Elvis on a Leith juke box. Citadel brings Leith Dockers Club, the company’s Leith Festival venue for the past ten years, to the Edinburgh Fringe for the first time. Four-star reviews for past shows: 'A great story well told' (Thom Dibdin).
