Description
He's 27, gay and riddled with dyspraxia. Dan's had a big year, quitting his job as a dinner lady, going full-time in comedy and finally leaving home, yet somehow he still feels he's completely going under. The reigning BBC New Comedy Awards winner and British Comedian of the Year presents his gag-heavy, high-energy debut hour. Tour support for Micky Flanagan and Jamali Maddix. As seen on BBC, Channel 4, Comedy Central, Dave and ITV2. 'Raucously entertaining' (Guardian). 'A force-of-nature who sweeps the room up in his exhilarating performance into a frenzy of laughter' (Chortle.co.uk).Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Stumbled on Dan last year at the free fringe and he was the highlight of the festival and yet again he didn't disappoint. We didn't stop laughing the entire show and he's been the highlight of the fringe for a second year running, highly recommend!

I fucking loved Dan's show, and yes he talks about beans a lot, and it's fucking hilarious!

Having seen a few clips on line I wanted to see Dan in person. His show did not disappoint, very funny from the start. I wouldn't be surprise to see him pick up a few awards for this show.

Dan is unhinged, in the best way possible! You just don’t know what’s going to happen next.. Really good start to my fringe!

Dan Tiernan: Going Under (**)
Tiernan is not a witty man; he seems to believe that louder is funnier that only produced courteous chuckles from the rarely amused audience. He often runs up to an audience member until he is inches from their face, and then yells at them. He started his routine by saying “fuckin’” in every sentence, and then proceeds to talk about his poor looks and beans until his notes prodded him with a new topic.
This is the least enjoyable of the 28 shows I have seen so far at the Fringe this year. I hope to see almost 200. You may see my other three-sentence reviews, in order from most enjoyable to worst, at my non-commercial website: https://fringefan.com/
