Description
The Edinburgh University Savoy Opera Group is back at Paradise Green with a musical whodunit by Kander and Ebb, the pair behind Chicago and Cabaret. When the leading lady of Robbin’ Hood! is murdered on opening night, Boston PD Frank Cioffi delves into the world of show people to unmask her killer, and maybe even find love. But his task is far from simple, with a troupe of mercenary producers, tortured lyricists, and stage divas all with secrets of their own. A love letter to theatre, this show promises an evening of love, laughter and side dishes of murder. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Great show!!! Murder, romance, blackmail. What more could you want? Well, on top of all that you also get great vocals, great energetic dancing and some comedy. I only have one very, very small issue - a minute detail. As someone born and bred in Kansas, we don't have Saguaro cactus (as per your set, normally native to the Arizona and New Mexico desert). Like I said only a very small issue, probably only noticeable by a native Kansan. Other than that - totally FAB!!!

An amazing performance - cleverly directed and staged with not only many stunning vocal performances but also very well choreographed dance routines, I especially enjoyed the pas de deux between Bobby and Bambi. This show is not only funny but has many great songs which the cast deliver with high energy. So much talent on one stage!
