Description

(fig.) Honour, distinction, fame. 'Open the earth to enclose me, or change my form'. Daphne has finally managed to get all of her sisters together in one room, and this night out is just what she needs. But, who’s that? Didn’t she see him in the last bar? Is he looking at her? Wanton Theatre Company present the second project from Rabinovitz and Hay after their five-star debut musical at Edinburgh Fringe 2018. This reframing of the classical Daphne and Apollo narrative is an honest exploration of rape culture, a two-hand musical about hook-ups and self-care.
