Description
Insurgent alt-country outfit led by legendary Rezillos' frontwoman, Fay Fife. Think of The Cramps meeting Johnny Cash. Urban grit combined with a touch of punk and soulful, tender melodies, taking the genre to the warped frontiers of a previously unheard terrain. Fay's authentic, original lyrics, mellifluous vocals and out-there stage presence combine in an unholy alchemy of alt-country, punk and a touch of gospel. Songs about life, sadness and badness, as well as hope and spirituality. Four-piece band plus special guest Kirsten Adamson. 'Like a Celtic Ronnie Spector' **** (Scotsman). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
