Description

A block of flats. Four different rooms. Four different stories. Confessions of the Romantically Challenged tackles different issues surrounding the complicated, paradoxical, confusing, universal thing that is ‘love’. Each story illustrates people who are, in one way or another, facing a problem in the romance department. The play takes the audience through each character’s story at their vulnerable hours of the day and attempts to convey the truth of human emotion.

A lovely ensemble show about other sides to love - platonic, marital and more. Really beautiful writing and some excellent acting that created thoroughly believable and relatable characters.

A group of people living in a block of flats sounds like a generic plot for many productions but 3BUGS take us effortlessly into the lives of the residents and we become immersed in their trials and tribulations. Beautifully acted and cleverly produced we are taken from one flat to the next and taken on a ride of emotions from empathy to sympathy with a dose of frustration and a good dollop of humour. If you get the chance this week pop along and see what it's all about. You won't be disappointed.
