Description

An insistent palm-reading drag queen declares Jenny will never find love, sending her reeling back to a high school match-making scheme that horrifyingly matched her with the biggest loser in the school. Was this whole ''matching system'' just a cruel hoax? Maybe, but now years later she wonders… what if that loser was the love of her life? Questions about love, destiny, erasure and memory collide in this comical and surprisingly touching solo musical about growth, acceptance and the expansiveness of love.

This is definitely a show to go and see at the Fringe! Fantastic storytelling by Jenny Stafford brilliantly put to beautiful music accompanied by Mark Castellano! I found myself laughing and tearing up in equal measure! A show of reflection and humour which left me feeling fulfilled at the end! Thank you!

“Color Inside the Lines” is a must-see show in the Fringe! I laughed, I teared up, I reminisced, I reflected on my life and how I think…all in one hour of this brilliant performance! The writing, delivery, themes, and catchy/beautiful songs (I loved the guitar accompaniment by Mark Castellano!) are all delightfully engaging. I want to see it again! Don’t miss it!

A highly engaging, provocative, and reflective show engaging memories of a real-life performer's teenage angst grown into adulthood. Stafford and Castellano tell a tale through music and monologue that can relate to anyones life. It will lead you to laugh and be the cause for great reflection in your own life. The show is a reminder to NEVER color inside the lines. A definite highlight for this year's Fringe!

Definitely a must see. Stafford's brilliance as a writer and performer shine in this romp of high school relationships and their effect on who we are today. A captivating and most enjoyable performance by Ms. Stafford.
