But first, he needs to explain it to his family. And his best mate, Will. I had no clue what I was in for when I booked this but it was INCREDIBLE! I was hooked from the moment I entered the room and for the whole zanny, loveable ride. Thomas did such a great job transitioning through so many characters which were always so spot on!! It balances humour and raw emotion beautifully, and strikes you to the core of wanting to be fully and completely loved as you are. It’s gorgeous, would absolutely recommend!

I loved this show. It was my first one-man show and I was intrigued to know how one person could play many characters without losing the narrative. Thomas did this magnificently. The narrative was strong throughout, the acting was excellent and the characters were believable. We laughed a lot.

Loved this so much! Beautifully acted. It might be a one man play, but we meet a lot of characters and they’re all delightful. Thomas is a joy to watch, the whole thing flew by and I was left feeling like I have to find out what happens to him next. I went because he’s Welsh, but can recommend it because he’s brilliant.

Entertaining and deep. Great acting. Humans who apparently behave like beasts and beasts who pretend to behave like humans.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked for this show. However, the story had me gripped from the start with this well written and well performed one man show. It had comedy and humour which maintained my attention but at the same time was thought provoking and left me thinking more about life. Tom was an amazing actor and this is a must for anyone attending The Fringe this year and one to look out for in the future.

I found this very intriguing. The acting was a master class. The story was so awkward and I was convinced that the situation was real. I felt such dread and so trapped and so sad that this boy was heading towards a form of death. I would absolutely recommend this performance.

Tom is such a talented actor and this play is funny, meaningful and thought provoking. He held the audience in the palm of his hand for the full play and it was an amazing thing to witness. I can’t recommend this show enough.

What a wonderfully funny and poignant one man show! Thomas has such energy and charisma as he slips between characters with skilful ease. The premise of the story may seem light at surface-level but soon reveals itself to be complex and thought-provoking. A truly moving and engaging hour of theatre and well worth a watch!

Incredibly clever, witty writing beautifully performed by Tom who is undeniably lovable. You will be hooked from start to end. I laughed and cried. So original, a must see!

I was absolutely blown away by how entertaining, challenging and captivating this show was! The performer really inhabited the characters - he seemed to physically grow when he was acting as some of them - especially Benji's father! It was a pleasure and a privilege to attend this show.

A FANTASTIC one man show. Sharp, snappy and witty to the core. The most captivating one person play around. A heartwarming story, laced with ingenious story telling, hilarious multi rolling and a thought provoking through line. COLLAR will make you laugh, cry and want to give your loved ones a hug. A superb piece of writing and a fantastic performance- a must see at this years fringe!

Beautifully written, and extremely well performed. It is though provoking and at the same time entertaining, the show countdowns to Ben's operation, and though a one person show many characters start appearing, and reactions to his decision evolve over this time frame. It explores Ben's decision from a number of points of view. It is often funny but also sad, if you're willing to experience a range of emotions it's well worth seeing.
