The 1990s, when house music exploded! This is a gripping and immersive stage adaptation of excerpts from the cult book Cola Boy. Drama, suspense, comedy and music as a young Scottish journalist and small-time DJ moves to Dubai. He's hell-bent on organising the first desert rave but is soon sucked into the city's criminal underworld. Forty-five minutes packed with 90s nostalgia and uplifting tunes exclusively curated by your favourite 90s house DJs.

Haven't ready the book but really enjoyed the show, if anything felt it could have had a longer duration. If you yearn for what was without doubt the best decade for dance music you will love this!

Superb show - great cast, quality script with nostalgia and humour in equal measure, and of course a superb soundtrack.

Highly recommended!

Loved the book, so couldn’t wait to see the show - 5 stars all round (cast, script, soundtrack and especially the wee twist).

See this as the next Trainspotting Live - can’t wait for it in a bigger venue and real audience participation to really transport us back to the 90’s!

Proud Aberdonian!

Transported to the pulsating beats of the 1990s house music era, this electrifying show delves into the intoxicating blend of relationships, romance and the drug-fuelled club scene. It's a roller-coaster ride that reminds us of the ecstasy and chaos of that moment in time. Kudos to the talented cast for their high-energy performances, the brilliant writer for capturing those heady days and the director for orchestrating a fun, fast-paced spectacle ... with a twist. If you have to beg, borrow, or even trade your last glow stick for a ticket, do it.

Loved this show. Great story set in the 90’s house music era, packed with humour and drama in equal measure and a twist at the end. Delivered by an amazing talented cast bringing so much energy to the stage. Accompanied by music from an era that those who grew up in will love. Prepare to be entertained from beginning to end.
