Just been in to see Climb with Duane Forrest. It was a fabulous show. Duane is engaging and talented and held his audience throughout his emotional and funny musical monologue. He’s a talented musician and artist and well worth a visit.

Beautifully composed hour. Gorgeous voice and lovely, unassuming but engaging storyteller. Just loved this guy! Straight onto Spotify to hear that voice again. Although be aware the show is solo, so it's not like the YouTube trailer posted under the description.

What a beautiful performance!
Throughout the whole show, his storytelling skills allowed the audience to feel every single emotion he himself had felt when the actual stories took place.
It was an intimate performance where the performer opened up his heart to his audience. Every single detail about this show speaks of the performer's soul, which he has put on his sleeve for everyone to see.

I was drawn to see the show through reading the blurb and as soon as Duane stepped on stage I knew why. He gives of an energy that makes you feel at ease and like you’re seeing an old friend. He creates a beautiful atmosphere that allows you to really sit and listen to the words spoken and sung. While he very magically weaves through stories so personal, and profound in his life, this allowing you to sit and reflect back on your own life experiences, and recognise the beauty that there is in this world and the connection between meeting people and seeing a mirror of yourself in them. And how the inward journey to finding yourself is the ultimate climb!
A really beautiful show that will leave you feeling uplifted and smiling about the beauty in life.

A beautifully constructed lyrical show about love, lost relationships and new horizons. Telling gentle truthful tales nuanced by a soulful guitar, Duane helps the audience to understand that when we make that climb in life, it’s not necessarily to rise above or obtain something out of reach, but to make a new connection and to begin a new story. The music will stay with you long after the final applause.

Wonderful enthralling show and quite possibly the most charming performer I've seen so far at the fringe. His music is gorgeous and storytelling captivating. Make time to go see this.

Duane is a true gem of a rare find . He has a warm happy presence and kept the audience enthralled by his tales of traveling and loves found and lost which he interspersed with his own songs accompanied on his acoustic guitar
I'd urge you to see this show and you wont be disappointed
He doesnt use flyers so relies on word of mouth

Arts Reviews Edinburgh (4/5 stars) 43 days ago

Climb is more than just another music show for Duane; it is his own story, and at times a very personal one which few musicians/writers are willing to tell with such honesty, and this is all done with gentle words to match the songs. Duane Forrest is a natural storyteller, and time seems to go by all too quickly when he is taking you into his world, his music, and his songs.
