Description
Two truthful new plays about the future of humanity in Climate Change. Debating Extinction, a romance about a young climate refugee couple deciding whether to have children on an inhospitable planet. The Trash Garden, a comedy inverting Adam and Eve about the last two human beings on Earth. These stories will tackle your climate anxieties head on, and bring you relief, hope, and understanding of our situation in the process. Developed in New York by artists and environmental scientists, this work is ushering in a new stage of enlightenment about the existential truth of the climate crisis. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. The world, as any sane person knows, is coming to an end. When that might be is the topic of frequent discussion, one that is thoughtfully and beautifully mastered in Padraig’s work ‘The Climate Fables’. These two pieces of theatre will make you question your choices and take stock of all you hold dear. It’s a passionate body of work that demands to be seen. Make your time on this earth count - make sure you see ‘The Climate Fables’.
