Description

Critically acclaimed Canadian humourist Clay Nikiforuk’s new work and Edinburgh debut weaves true tales of family, childhood, queerness, tragedy and friendship in unusual places to examine another, stranger, story: Clay’s teens spent battling psychosis. A decade of research later, this manic mash-up of storytelling, stand-up, and neuro-nerdery is born, equal parts confession, critique and rallying cry. Expect heartrending honesty, near-death experiences (Clay's, not yours) and deeply misguided greeting cards. Audience reviews: ‘I was gripped throughout... audiences will laugh, think and laugh again’. ‘Perfectly balanced, a wonderful show, and a must-see at this year’s Fringe’.
