Five-star Fringe favourites Circa (Closer, Beyond, Wunderkammer) return after their 2017 blockbuster season. This is thrillingly fearless, boundary-pushing circus at its best. Ten acrobats take us on a stirring journey of what it means to be human, and how our bodies, our connections, and our aspirations all form part of who we are. Created by Yaron Lifschitz, Humans asks how much can we take – how much weight can we carry? Who can we trust to support our load? 'The rock stars of the circus world' ***** (List).

Was expecting a lot from this show because of the countless great reviews and it did not disappoint! Still getting my head round the skill of the artists involved. Such a great idea; the title is well depicted in the show from start to finish. Just WOW. Go see it and you’ll understand. Also the brilliant and unexpected variety of music went perfectly with each part of the show. Already want to go back!

Wow...what athletes..what a great show

Very impressive. Unlike other physical theatre / circus it doesn't have the lulls between their amazing acrobatics. Well worth seeing.

Best show in the Edinburgh fringe this year. Strength, agility, grace, timing, content, poetry in motion.

My heart was in my mouth! I nearly had to leave I was so terrified and on the edge of my seat! An absolutely spectacular show. Don’t miss.

Wonderful! Best show of the week for us. Took a toddler and 7 year old. They both did fine. Engaging and amazing, start to finish. Really beyond human.

No praise is high enough for this show. Outstanding. I didn't think the human body was capable of some of the moves these performers could do and delivered with such poise.

An amazing show that had me laughing, confused and in awe in equal measure. Like nothing I have ever seen before. Beautiful and a must see!

Amazing! We have seen them before, and it was even better this time. Beautiful, unexpectedly funny, jaw dropping. They had a standing ovation - not a given with Fringe crowds. Wonderful mix of modern dance, acrobatics and unbelievable shows of strength and precision. The group showed vulnerability in their strength and somehow connected with the audience in a very 'Human' way. Love the strong female members - what an inspiration for kids. We took our 8 and 12 year olds. I wouldn't recommend for any younger as it wouldn't be appropriate for kids to make noise - it would ruin the tension - and there are plenty of other things for small kids. Wonderful show!

This is an edge-of-your-seat, breathtaking performance of dance, physical theatre and circus at it’s best. A wonderful mid-evening show that you must see.

Birth, love, war, sex, death: all human life is here. From the very first moments, when an inanimate pile of discarded clothing transforms into a jerkily-moving newborn to an unsettling electronica version of I Wish I Was A Mole In The Ground, the ten acrobats of Circa have an uncanny knack...

‘Wow!’ (This is the one word, Charlotte, aged 8, leaned over and scribbled on my pad as one of the acrobats somersaulted flying almost past our ears).
This is a show that amazes and astounds with every twist and turn and is recommended for all the family. (The group suggest that this show is suitable from 8+, although there were children younger than that in the audience who were clearly enjoying the show.)
