Saw this Monday night and it was INCREDIBLE! Was lucky enough to be sitting with friends on the front row in the midst of the action and we loved every minute. The script is clever and raunchy with not a line wasted, genuinely the best show I’ve seen this Fringe!

This is as good as it gets, a fringe perfection! An important show that is packed with laughs, delightfully silly and very very clever. It will continue to sell out for sure, so get yourself a ticket ASAP!

What a silly show, in the best possible way! Very enjoyable and nice to have a comedy show with (almost) no serious bits to it at all. Thoroughly recommended 5 *****

Christian Brighty absolutely delivers on the promise of his premise. If you want a show full of wit, wordplay, sensuous sensibility and don't mind the odd saucy Susan, this is the one for you! He's the proper Darcy for the new age, he's what we want and don't you just know it. A-mazing, a absolute tongue in cheek (and other places) must see. Loved it so much I'd go see it twice, but I'd rather not deprive you of the chance of seeing it, go, what are you waiting for?!?!

What a fun show! Granted, my son was horrified when I was called up to "participate" but honestly it wasn't the worst thing I've been made to do on stage! We seriously thought the giggly young woman next to us was part of the show, but Christian handled her professionally and appropriately without making her feel bad. He had the wherewithal of a seasoned performer. See it!

Took a punt after seeing a few TikTok videos. Blown away. The stupidest (in the best way), most unhinged and funniest thing I've seen all Fringe. Unabashed nonsense of the absolute highest calibre. Didn't stop laughing. Still laughing now.

Come for the concept, stay for the props, dream of the abs…
Christian Brighty is everyone’s favourite swoon worthy cad, and he’s on an eye popping adventure. Definitely more Lord Byron than Jane Austen, so bear that in mind.
Genuinely a joy

We weren't sure what to expect after seeing him on TikTok .. really good fun. Silly period-style romp. Mad and hilarious.

Go see it!

It’s not surprising Brighty received a full-house standing ovation by the end of the show, Brighty is fanning a flame under Regency comedy and it's no wonder audiences burn for it.

There are far too many highlights in Playboy for me to mention, and I don’t want to spoil the surprise. So, I will simply say that it is the show in the Edinburgh Fringe that I have laughed most at, and I would happily go again. If you have an open mind, and don’t mind a bit of vulgarity, this really is a highlight.

This imperfect show is saved by Brighty’s uncanny ability to charm the audience.
