Description
A Christmas Carol meets It's A Wonderful Life meets... *NSYNC. It's Christmas Eve 2009: seven years into the world-famous boy band's indefinite "hiatus", *NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick has until midnight to make a wish that could change his life forever. A parody musical featuring 12 original songs and plenty of 90s nostalgia! With music direction by Taylor J Williams (Hamilton, Moulin Rouge!) and sound design by Josh Millican (Six, The Band's Visit). 'This ensemble is a tour de force in story, singing, movement, and creativity' (HollywoodRevealed.com). 'Triumphant. Clever, tuneful, and utterly winning. WOW!' The performers were very good however I went in with little knowledge of what this show is about. You will love it if you are a fan of NSYNC/boy bands from the 90s. It was enjoyable otherwise, but many references were lost. Regardless, the songs were good and the show was a good watch.

Such a fun show! Fast paced, clearly well put together, and a fun story line. Totally worth seeing even if you’re not a boy band fan. My only wish as a Bostonian would be for a more punched up and accurate Bostony accent. But also who knows maybe that’s how we sound to everyone else! That’s literally such a small “complaint” because this show is perfect and the vocal talents of each performer is just WOW. Don’t miss out on this one, it’s brilliant!

Polished and punchy piece of pop history, and possibly pop yet to come....
Catchy songs and an amazing cast who have clearly worked hard to put this show together and deserve all the praise they are getting. Attention to detail was absolutely perfect from the costumes and period specific references to the characterisation.
Go see it!

You don’t need to know anything about boybands to be blown away by this super sweet and smart production. Such talented singers and performers and a hilarious script. Absolutely loved it.

This was a random pick as I know nothing about boy bands but found myself enjoying this so much. Although I have no idea about some of the people they were referring to it was so funny and entertaining. This is a must see at the fringe. Loved it

Went into this with no idea what to expect, but was very much pleasantly surprised. It is a polished and funny story, with a fantastically strong small cast. The vibe of the boy-band era was very well captured, and all made for a very enjoyable and well executed show. Very deserving of a near sell out audience, all of whom were engaged and loving the goings on on stage!

Eminem might not be a fan of Chris Kirkpatrick but after today I am! American boy bands passed me by at the time but all the cultural references where on point as were the catchy songs and "key change/pull down" choro. Feel good fun, get yourself along!

Seen a few musicals so far this year at the Fringe. This is by far the best, I was looking for razz-ma-taz, after some lacklustre efforts from other shows, and this has it in buckets.
I’m not a fan of NSync, but they did a great job of making me care about them for an hour.
Highly recommended for musical fans (maybe more Book of Mormon fans rather than Les Mis)

Went to see Chriskirkpatrickmas on a whim - and was totally blown away with how immensely fun and polished it was!! The conceit of the show - the story of *NSYNC using the structure of a Christmas Carol, in the medium of a musical sounds a bit far fetched - but it was brilliant. So many seamless costume changes, believable characters, great songs, fabulous singing and choreography and everything spot on. Came away humming the songs, grinning and looking up the history of *NSYNC on wikipedia. An absolute gem. I’m not a an NSYNC aficionado, I imagine if you are m there is a whole extra layer of enjoyment/nuance - but you really don’t need to be.

We went to see this based on our love of Christmas rather than our knowledge NSYNC and came away with a new knowledge of the band. The original songs were infectious and sung beautifully by the talented cast. The comedic performances were uncanny. This needs to be made into a movie to be enjoyed on our favourite Christmas TV Channel.
