In 2016, Heather Keller, a healthy young vegan runner, was diagnosed with breast cancer and her life changed forever. From the endless doctor appointments, tests and treatments, to the love, friendship and disappointments she experienced along the way, this is her humorous, inspiring and ultimately uplifting story of a young woman conquering cancer while living her life as normally as possible. Based on Heather's contemporaneous journals, blogs, social media posts and correspondence, Chemo Barbie was the winner of the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Encore Producer's Award. 'Funny, inventive, perceptive, and riveting' ( 'Powerful, life-affirming' (Toluca Times, Los Angeles).
