You enter a tavern. You see a group of comedian questers. What do you do? A Dungeons and Dragons-style comedy, interactive roleplaying game show: suitable for the experts, the novices and the uninitiated but curious. No two quests are alike: a unique mini-adventure with improvised music, songs and questionable choices. Roll the dice on this comedy gameshow. 'Plenty of laughs and nerd camaraderie' **** (BroadwayWorld.com). 'Endlessly pleasing, voraciously funny hour of unpredictable nonsense' **** (Indiependent.co.uk). Great fun and full of inventive comic energy. Like any RPG, it's very reliant on the quality of the gamemaster and the participants, but Sasha Ellen gives the players space to imagine and moves the show along well when they run dry. Plus always nice to see John Robertson lactating molten butter.

Sasha acts as dungeon master for three fellows she invited to complete a quest in an hour. Their quest this day was to deal with a town in which the humans have been replaced with intelligent cows. As a weekly dungeon master, my stepson offered many helpful suggestions to the novice adventurers as they whimsically journeyed through the weird world.

It is early in the Fringe, and I have only seen 36 shows of the around 160 I will see. So far, this was the 28th most enjoyable I have seen at the Fringe this year. You may see my other three-sentence reviews, in order from most enjoyable to worst, at my non-commercial website: https://fringefan.com/
