Such a lovely, gentle show, with humour that all ages can enjoy. And language is no barrier! Shows like this are exactly why I come to Fringe shows.

This is a brilliant show. The performer is very talented and holds the attention of the audience with every move and nuance. At once it is clever, amusing, sad and surprising. The time flew by - really original and highly recommended.

Chalk was brilliant entertainment for 12 year old Jason and I (75).
Laugh out loud funny and touchingly sad in unequal measures.
Go and see it!

Went to see this with my 12 year old son and we both really enjoyed it. We were both smiling as we left the venue. Bring more mime to the Fringe!

Sadly we found it a weak performance, predictable and with long & boring stretches

A lovely show for all the family. Particularly loved the audience interaction passing the butterfly around the room (and the reaction when one woman squashed it). Well worth seeing.

This is such a sweet and heartwarming show. It's guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Definitely would recommend.

This show manages to have you leave with the biggest smile, not because it's funny - which it is - but because it is heartwarming. Purest clowning with the intention of bringing love, connection and emotionality on stage. Open your hearts and expect to be sucked into a magical world with creative use of chalk, sound, physicality and space. Works perfectly and showcases the performer's creative ideas, clowning skills and charming energy on stage. Well done!

Our whole family enjoyed this show's creativity and expression. Here are two reviews my 13 and 11 year old wrote:

1-This was also one of my favourite shows, and I really joined the physical comedy. The idea was creative and reminded me of Harold and the Purple Crayon. The sound matched with the interactive drawing made the performance really come to life. I really enjoyed this performance.

2-One if my personal favorites, chalk was such a good show/performance! It was so great and amazing, he really makes you smile. Through the whole performance i was smiling and was so impressed, it was one if them if not my favorite performance. I definitely recommend this show because it is so amazing and impressive.

I really liked this show. I loved the use of music, which I wouldn't have expected going in. My daughter loved that she helped to clean up the chalk after the show and she gave it a thumbs up.

Smaller shows don't always get the audience they deserve. I hope this show does, because it's very good

An endearing exercise in imagination that comes with all of the nostalgia that a good mime should. No one left the theater sad. guaranteed to put a smile on anyone's face.

Chalk takes the idea of a silent comedy to the next level. It is a heartwarming piece of love and acceptance. The audience is completely engaged in this beautiful show. The use of chalk is very clever and frames the performance nicely. Definitely recommend this show for all ages.

Chalk is a wonderful show filled with joy, wonder, and energy that fills the room and follows you beyond the theatre. This one man silent comedy views the world in a simplistic, yet, in depth way that warms the heart and ignites the audience with child like happiness one stroke of chalk at a time.

I didn’t know what to expect walking into Chalk. A mime entered and then delighted the audience as he drew an entire world (well, house) from chalk. This show is carefully put together, and often as ingenious as it is humorous and touching. While the mime (Alex Curtis) uses tricks throughout...
