I thoroughly enjoyed Russel aka the Rock and Roll route master's first fringe season this is the second time i've seen him, the first being at a corporate event in London. He is knowledgeable, humble and entertaining. Highly recommended.

A really funny, diverting and fascinating hour with BBC London’s ‘Rock and roll routemaster’ sharing his encyclopaedic knowledge of contemporary music history and trivia on a journey of factoids, anecdotes and titbits that link Elvis Presley through to Queen with several stops on the way. A great way to spend an hour of your fringe afternoon and a lovely courtyard venue for a drink and a bite at the surgeons hall.

Time flew by during this smooth, natural, funny and entertaining show. Russell Clarke (BBC Radio London's 'Rock and roll Routemaster') wears his encyclopaedic knowledge lightly and shares it in a very generous and easy going manner. He's curated his trivia brilliantly to find exactly the right kind of quirky nuggets about well known performers that will entertain and surprise you - as well as covering some of the more general insight into the lives of the stars. I loved the repeatability of some of the anecdotes - portable bits of trivia which the audience can access and, no doubt, share with their friends next time they hear one of the featured songs or stars.
