Description

Drawing on her Welsh and Scottish roots Elinor’s programme will include new arrangements of traditional and contemporary pieces composed or arranged specifically for the clarsach to highlight its versatility, securing its place in the modern era as an instrument in its own right. Elinor is passionate about developing a modern repertoire for this beautiful instrument, bringing it to a new audience through concerts and new players through her teaching. Elinor won the prestigious Trophée de Harpe Celtique at Lorient in 2015.

Amazing performance. Elinor's mastery of the clarsach is hypnotic to watch and listen to. She played a wide variety of pieces, some of which she had composed herself. A very talented performer.
