The Carpenters Songbook premiers at the Fringe to take you on an emotive journey through the career of one of the world’s most successful duos. This new groundbreaking show-umentary format gives a fascinating insight into The Carpenters and their music. Both poignant and uplifting, experience all the hits as delivered by the sublime Charlotte Brereton who returns to the Fringe following critical acclaim and sell-outs portraying Joni Mitchell in 2017 and 2018. A good portrayal of one of the world's best musical families.
Well expressed material (never had the intention of comparing with the inimitable Karen).
A bit of distraction with the soundcrew trying to correct something which would not be an issue for most performances.

Vocals were not for me sorry i'm sure the artist is fantastic with other material but she is not right for this (out of key) we walked out.
