The true story of how a group of Croydon kids... surrounded by gangs... carrying knives... selling drugs... became Wembley Arena superstars. Written/performed by the kids themselves, this high-energy musical tackles the challenges of growing up in a disadvantaged part of today's society. Featured by BBC Children in Need and performing at Wembley Arena, the Royal Albert Hall and on BBC Radio 1, Rap Club (now called Kingdom) outgrew its meagre origins in Mr Turner's classroom and became a lifeline between aspirational futures and school exclusion/road-life.
