Description

An ageing film producer plans to resurrect his past cinematic successes by revitalising the Carry On franchise with a brand-new film. Saucy seaside humour, double entendre and cheeky sexual innuendo. Just what a millennial audience wants, right? Determined to secure his legacy, he decides to pull off one of the biggest cinematic comebacks of all time – a new Carry On film! A new play about ageing, the human spirit and changing attitudes, and of course an affectionate tribute to the Carry On films, one of the most successful film franchises in British history.

Loved it.

Some of it may be lost on younger people to whom Kenneth Williams, Sid James etc will mean nothing, however for all of us of a certain age it is a wonderful, funny and sad one man (who plays a myriad of roles) play.

Can't recommend it highly enough.

Absolute genius, a gem of a performance here.

Not only did he nail Kenny Williams, Sid, Charlie Hawtrey et al, he's the only male performer I've seen who can make the likes of Babs, Hattie & Joany Sims seem like they were there on stage.

Good to hear extra shows have been arranged to cope with demand. Exactly how it should be.
