Enthusiastic and energetic but the material is very weak considering the incredible talent elsewhere

Good fun. It's just a bit zany and light hearted, harmless humour!!! Enjoyed it.

I wasn’t expecting much after reading some of the reviews - but my advice would be to ignore the couple of poor reviews! This was a brilliantly written, but even better better performed fast paced collection of very funny sketches. The “gentrification” sketch in particular appealed. The five performers are so gifted. One plays a guitar very well, they can sing, dance and the faces they pull just add to the comedy.
This should be sold out every night. Thank you very much for an amazing hour.

Enjoyable and definitely some funny moments for me but no belly laughs. Lots of energy and some fun slapstick in the middle.

A good fun show - witty and fast paced and some fabulous young talent.

So dull. Footlights has really lost its way over the past few years. The sketches lacked punchlines and it just felt like a lost bunch of loosely-tied jokes.

Sorry to say, but this was rubbish, someone should really tell them to re write it. Went in with high expectations, it is the footlights so you expect to be belly laughing but only about quarter of this was funny, and even that wasn't that funny.

Ian Buehring 40 days ago

Rather underwhelming and puerile. For me, I found maybe a quarter of the show funny but not the rest.

Jonathan 40 days ago

Engaging, funny, thoughtful, skilfully varied, clever and witty. The Footlights are back and as talented as you’d expect. Look out for the envelope gremlins!

This is such a fun, feel-good show. Lots to enjoy and keep remembering with a chuckle afterwards. Definitely worth a watch.

There is something for everyone in this show. A wide range of sketches all fun and perfectly silly. Particularly loved the Zumba sketch and the monzo one with the token male of the group bringing to life the realities of online banking…. So worth seeing!

A fun, high energy, slick and well-directed show with charismatic, talented and likeable performers.

The show is apparently evolving all the time with new material and sketches coming in and out - which keeps it fresh for everyone involved, including the audience.

My personal favourite sketch was the Zumba one but everyone will have their own. There are good running gags and also comedy musical talents on display.

Given Cambridge Footlights' track record - some of these performers will probably end up as famous TV personalities, so its fun to catch them now - right at the start...

Very funny, musical sketches particularly entertaining!

Good fun and definitely worth seeing.

An enthusiastic confident cast -but sadly I found this rather lacking in zing. I’ve seen local schools’ “6th form end of year shows” demonstrate more creativity than this. So left feeling a tad underwhelmed. Maybe others will see what I didn’t.

What a great show. Full of fresh ideas and wit that comes at you at speed. Amazing energy and slick production. Some faces to watch here for the future.

The two key markers for future success in any creative industry are novelty and variety. The Footlights cover both with the sheer breadth of humours encompassed within a single show. You will leave with your favourite sketches to talk about straight away, then find yourself quoting others days later, and you will definitely leave wanting more.

What a fantastic surprise - excellent cast, great material, laugh-out-louds and where did the time go. Definitely, worth the time and money. Five stars from me.

Absolutely fantastic, The Footlights have managed it again! This show is so tight and filled with energy. Honestly had me laughing throughout. Absolutely deserves a watch!

A lively hour of sketch from what could easily be the next generation of great comic performers, this show is definitely worth a watch.
