Description

A breathtaking smorgasbord of top academics, one stand-up comedian and some dangerous ideas. Now in its 11th year at the Fringe, CODI is 60 minutes of rapid-fire research from some of the finest minds in the country – professors, doctors and just some downright clever folk. Two talks each day: join the conversations on cutting edge research from Vikings to cybercrime, zombies to AI, black holes to social media and much more besides. General venue access

  • Wheelchair Accessible Toilets
  • Accessible entry: Stand 1 is in a basement and access is by stairs at the front of the building from the pavement. Stairs are well lit and in good condition. Seven steps down, turn 90 degrees, then two more to gain access. Staff always available to assist.

    • Wheelchair access type: Not fully wheelchair accessible

  • Stairs: 6 - 10
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
