I absolutely loved this! Saw them in 2018 and had no hesitation about booking their second show. Mesmerising, funny, naughty, clever and wonderfully visual! A real sensory experience. Let yourself go and remember it’s for adults! Loved..loved..loved it!

I found this show utterly stupid and poor...I walked out!

As a guy, I felt really uncomfortable about how this show manages consent, in the audience participation segments. I've seen a variety of immersive shows, including Sensuous Governing this year, where performers get really really close to the audience, touching them, holding them close etc. I've also been to burlesque shows with sexy audience participation, and I know that consent in these shows can be done in a safe way that still preserves the sexy atmosphere. I really took issue with the way in this show, performers threw themselves at audience members and kissed or humped them, without doing any kind of eye contact or indication of what they were about to do, to give their mark a chance to say no. All of the people who were interacted with like this were men, and it was clearly supposed to be a joke. Even if the people interacted with were plants, it was still really uncomfortable to sit in a space where that happened, inches away from me. Yes, the show is billed for adults, and it's billed as sexy, but simply telling people that should not be taken as automatic consent for audience participation of that kind. Even if you go to someone's house, and agree or discuss having sex with them, and then you decide you're not interested, that choice should be respected, and you should always have a chance to know what's about to happen and back out, or back out halfway through. It's the same with any kind of audience participation, sexual or non sexual. After the show, a friend told me that they once went to a burlesque show with much more extreme sexual content, and audience participation to match, but at the top of the show performers asked audience members to cross their arms over their chest if they didn't want to be involved in audience participation, and then they got on with the show and absolutely nobody made a fuss about it. It's really not a big deal, or any compromise on the artistic intent of a show to allow audience members to give consent in this manner. The fact that this company only interacted in this way with male audience members shows that they do actually understand that this kind of audience participation is inappropriate and unsafe, but they just think it’s ok to put men through that, rather than women, which is just really mean spirited in my opinion.

Superlative verse for children and adults, filled with silliness, laughter and child-friendly horror. An hour of smart and funny, cleverly-rhymed and vocabulary-busting poetry aimed at children but entirely ready for adults.

It’s sexy people doing cool stuff with bubbles. It’s not going to change your life, but you’ll probably enjoy it.

A naughty-but-nice mixture of edgy humour, great music and fun costumes wrapped around some genuinely impressive bubble-related skills.
