Description

Mix one-part physical theatre, one-part bubble artistry and one-part neo-burlesque and you get a soapy concoction of kinky, in-your-face theatrics. A raucous and raunchy affair with a surprising story arc full of abstractness and the slightly grotesque, a surreal performative experience that wonderfully showcases the technical prowess of bubble art on a first-class level. ***** (TheWeeReview.com). ****½ (HiFiWay). ****½ (Advertiser, Adelaide). ****½ (Weekend Notes). **** (BroadwayBaby.com). A unique show, yes it is very silly, but what can you really expect for a show about bubbles? The performers brought fantastic energy into the room, all good spirited fun.

The worst show at Fringe!!! Not a single moment of enjoyment. My stomach was in knots with anxiety and terrified that I might be unfortunate enough to join other members of the audience who were physically assaulted during the performance. Physically repulsive, grotesque, tasteless and verging on demonic. A disturbed and disturbing performance where the female performer is clearly under the influence. I left part way through as soon as I was physically able. Should be banned from the Fringe!! Completely destroyed my joy of bubbles. Traumatised by the performance. Steer well clear!

Watching Lulia Benze and Kurt Murray may lead to temporary sensory overload. Revelling in the seedy and grubby, Bubble Laboratory's Bubble Show for Adults Only is part physical theatre and part bubble artistry. The show aims at an audience willing to watch a BDSM fetish infused kids show. More than...
