Broken Record

Comedy (sketch show, solo show)

Venue Age Restriction: Strictly 18+ after 18:00

Description

Daniel Willis attempts to show his audience and his digital therapist that his life is absolutely, definitely fine, with an hour of quick, quirky comedy sketches. In a cash-strapped, tech-focused NHS, digital therapists are all the rage. Locked in a bare room with just the therapist’s soothing voice, Daniel is encouraged to delve into his past embarrassing encounters and revealing dreams. As the show goes on the lines between fiction and reality become more blurred as Daniel attempts to prove that his life is back on track. Semi-finalist: Max Turner Prize. Quarter-finalist: Leicester Square Theatre Sketch Off.

A fun show from start to finish. The overlying link ties everything together to create a quite odd, but very enjoyable show. Dan is very personable and I enjoyed it immensely

Broken Record: we saw Dan’s show last night. It was a full house. Very entertaining and amusing one man sketch show. Dan had great presence and held the audience’s attention throughout. Definitely recommend going to see him

Self admittedly “a bloody weird show” but it was charming as hell. The show’s only running the first half of Fringe, so go watch it while you can!
