Description

Fresh from their universally adored BBC Three pilot, Charly Clive and Ellen Robertson make their long-awaited return to the Fringe with a sketch show about love. But which of these two girls will you fancy more? 'Ferociously funny' ***** (i-magazine.co.uk). 'Sweet, smart, refreshingly silly' (Guardian). 'Charming, joyous and offbeat' **** (Chortle.co.uk). 'Bloody brilliant' **** (BeyondTheJoke.co.uk). A recent rejection from a writing job: 'their friendship is so powerful, and so long-lasting, it might unbalance the room'. As seen on BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three and Channel 4, in spite of everything.

A chance to see rising star Charly Clive and her comedy partner Ellen Robertson in this delightful show loosely based around their 2009 school Christmas Talent Show. Gentle comedy, impeccably performed. A treat.

It’s a privilege and a delight to be allowed into their super-tight friendship group for one brief hour. And, generously, they not only make you feel like a full part of the gang – they’ve got lots of top-drawer jokes to share with you too. 40 days ago

These youngsters have had a good start at the Fringe. Their show was a series of random mildly amusing sketches performed with great enthusiasm. Having seen a lot of comedy at Edinburgh, this show was not up with the best, but not among the worst. I think this pair will develop.

What a treat- the audience can relax in the he hands of these gorgeously comedic friends - a refreshing hour of funny sketches written by two clever young women - I look forward to see what you do next! Thank you!

Hilariously funny show from a glorious double act! I personally enjoyed the COVID safe high five in the front row.

Go see them before they get picky about the caliber of their audience members!

The BBC should follow up their 2021 TV pilot with a full series sharpish, but until that happens they’re well worth catching here.

Friends and Nothing More is well put together, incredibly clever and relentlessly hilarious throughout.
