Join award-winning comedian James Alderson as he takes a hilarious double A-sided trip down memory lane to see if it really is better now than in the 80s, before he gets much older and forgets what actually happened! Whether you get there on roller skates, your Sinclair C5 or in your Cortina, backcomb that hair, pull on your leg warmers and prepare yourself for a show jam-packed with laughs and nostalgia! 'Lights up the room like a pyromaniac in a fireworks shop!' (Russell Kane).

We live in a time where the world has gone mad and everything is so complicated. Let the lovely James take you back to a time when life was simple and fun, where you could play outside and music had a tune and words you could sing along to. For those all lived through 80’s this is an hour of pure escapism which will bring back such happy memories of a simpler time. You will have advert theme tunes stuck in your head for hours though! Now put down that rubix cube and get yourself down to the caves to see this wonderful show!

Funny trip down memory lane for anyone aged 42+. Fast paced - potentially but too much in there - but lot of genuine laughs.

This show was so funny because everything was true and brought back so many memories. If you are 40 - 55 then you have to watch this show.
4 of us ranged in age from 42 - 53 and had all laughed all the way through.

James delivered it very well and interacted with the audience all the way through.
Well done James great show, even that we agreed Grattons was better than Littlewoods catalogue for teenage boys !

James Alderson is always brilliant live, and as a child of the 80s, his show is a joyous, retro treat. Jam-packed with nostalgic references to classic movies, TV shows and music throughout, there’s fun audience interaction too (I won’t spoil what happens). Bring Back The 80s is a must-see show, full of laughs and blasts from the past!

Not so much bring back the 80’s but bring this show down to 30-40mins. Content is right but there too much. Needs to pull the best bits - not ‘everything’ small or big that may have happened in the 80’s. the delivery felt very much like a parent imposing themselves on their kids more than engaging with the audience. More about James telling you what he wants than what those attending want to hear.

Felt it was flat. Needs a good bit of work.
