Description

Brendan Galileo is determined to make his mark on Irish political life and save the local school of music from being converted into apartments for racehorses, by joining the ranks of the European Parliament. However, with his voice so lost in a sea of tribal bureaucracy, he must take drastic action to improve his public profile. He must represent his country in the most vicious diplomatic catfight on the continent, the Eurovision Song Contest. A hilarious multi award-winning new play by Fionn Foley about keeping your integrity at the world's foremost convention of kitsch.

What a fantastic piece! Brilliantly written and incredibly well delivered. This is physical comedy at its highest level of quality by the young, energetic and beautiful Fionn Foley. Fionn takes you an an engrossing journey from when he first sets foot on the stage - and doesn't let you go. If you're looking for comedy, then this sweet, hilariously funny yet uplifting story told from the heart could possibly be the best hour you'll spend at the fringe this year.

Outstanding performer with superb comic timing. Someone I expect we will hear a lot about in the future. Very clever and funny.

Very talented young comic, one to watch for the future! Excellent show - even if you don't love Eurovision!! 5*

This wasn’t the high production kitsch glitterfest I was expecting - it was so much better than that. It was just one guy, but many characters and it was endearing, clever, so well put together and performed and hilarious from start to finish. If you know anything about Ireland, the EU or Eurovision - go and see this, you will love it. *****

Musical Theatre Review (3/5 stars) 1 day ago

Fionn Foley is a one-man phenomenon! Switching between characters and voices at the flick of a switch, Foley has considerable talent and delivers this show with panache, fun and sheer joy.
