Description

This show explores the story of a girl's life, her relationship with her environment and the notion that nature can act as a support system in the same way that family and friends do. Combining poetry and contemporary dance, this show aims to explore the deep connection we have with the natural world and how our interactions with different environments shape us as people. It offers audience members a moment to revel in the beauty of dance and poetry, while also allowing them to reflect upon their own relationship with the places that they call home.

Hiller is an engaging performer, whose strong and simple style is strangely hypnotic. [...] the piece is a meditative reminder of how the moving body is also an integral part of nature and not, as we often see it, a separate entity.

Fest (4/5 stars) 35 days ago
