Description

Boudica is a loose adaptation of the historical revolt led by Boudica, Queen of the Iceni, against the Romans in 54 AD, retold as an inter-family mafia conflict. Shortly after the death of Boudica’s husband, a powerful crime boss, a rival faction moves to assert control over what they see as newly empty territory. This aggressive expansion crosses line after line, dragging Boudica’s daughters into a world of suffering and violence. Family being all she has left, Boudica must decide whether to bow down and accept new masters, or risk everything and fight to protect what is hers.
