Description
Young Blood. Gen Z. Connected by age and social networks. But these performers have something more in common – they first met in March 2022, a few days after the outbreak of war in Ukraine. Cirk La Putyka and Kyiv Municipal Academy of Variety and Circus Art collaborate on this show about family, freedom and borders. Accompanied by enchanting music, their production is a display of incredible circus talent and mesmerising dance, as well as resilience and optimism in the face of adversity. *12% of Ticket Income will be donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee.*Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Simply incredible performance
Combination of creativity, talent and commitment made this spectacular
The personalities and their story shine through, but what really impressed is how they have come together in a single performance
Would go back and watch again and again !
Thank you !

Emotive storytelling can be like wading through treacle and a tricky thing to get right. Boom was none of this - it picked you up and carried you on the most incredible journey that some of these young performers had been on.
Skill, passion and a zest for performance were delivered in equal measure to tell their stories of friendship, a love of a place called home and a contagious energy to perform.
Circus, Dance, Comedy and storytelling combine in a whirlwind hour that should not be missed. Get a ticket while you can, by week 4 you'll be begging for tickets!

This was incredible, the acrobatics, choreography, music, the sheer spectacle of it all. There was an air of poignancy too with some of the young performers Ukrainian refugees - for me, the joy on some of their faces as they performed their skilful acrobatics made it quite emotional. An outstanding show which rightly got an involuntary standing ovation from the audience.

What’s not to like? Engaging, vital, energetic, imaginative and well paced. This combination of voice, dance and gymnastics - with a sprinkling of circus tricks - worked well and provided an impressive demonstration of diverse skills.
