Description

Led by acclaimed vocalist Nicole Smit, Queens of the Blues presents a musical celebration of the women who have shaped blues and popular music as we know it, and have gone largely unrecognised for their influence and talent. The show features a seven-piece line-up of award-winning band The Blueswater. 'A ridiculously tight band of musicians and an extremely charismatic turn by Nicole Smit' (Fest). ***** (TheWeeReview.com). **** (BroadwayBaby.com).

Oh my goodness! What a voice.. When you see Nicole on stage singing the old queen of blues songs, it’s something unreal. Her voice is a rare blessing and her performance is impeccable.

As always this show is fantastic. Sad to see they have limited there run of shows this year. Nicole has a stunning voice and should never be limited. Best voice of festival. Note to others with this venue, queue early so you can get a seat. You can stand but it does spoil it a bit when it is packed.
