Description

JazzMain presents Blue Note Nights. Following its huge success in last year’s Fringe, popular jazz quartet JazzMain returns with its critically acclaimed Blue Note Nights show. It explores the 1950s and 60s Blue Note jazz – an era defined by artists like Dexter Gordon, Hank Mobley, Benny Golson, Jimmy Heath, and Horace Silver. The band will take you on a historical journey, delving into the history of each artist’s canon of great jazz recordings that shaped the era of the post-Bop West Coast ‘Cool Jazz’ movement.
