A brand-new, riveting show from JazzMain where the spotlight falls on 'cool' jazz that transformed 1950s/60s America. It ushered in the Blue Note record label which conquered the jazz world with its profusion of great jazz talent. This show will tell the story of the artists who took the jazz world by storm, Dexter Gordon, Horace Silver, Jimmy Heath amongst them, and catapulted this rich seam of melodic jazz into a dynamic new era for the music. JazzMain is Nick Gould (tenor), Steve Grossart (piano), Iain Harkness (bass) and Kevin Dorrian (drums). Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
