Description

Bloke and His American Bantu is a play about the transatlantic camaraderie of Bloke Modisane, a South African writer/journalist exiled in the UK and Langston Hughes, an African-American writer/poet, devised out of their letters of correspondence.

Best acting I've seen by both actors. The actor who played Bloke had me blown away. Langston Hughes was brought back to live. This play left me wanting to find out more about the relationship between these two creatives which i knew nothing about. That's what art is supposed to do! Educate and inspire. Go see it and bring your friends.
