Extraordinarily impressive show - fantastic agility, athleticism and teamwork, and wonderful humour. Must see.

Fantastic show! This was an amazing mix of intense, draw dropping acrobatics and short funny pieces in the middle to give you a chance to breathe! Not one to miss!

Fantastic show!!
Superb acrobatics, understated without the flash. Subtle humour and great use of the set as apparatus, including the piano. Music held the emotion of the performance together throughout, this is a show you must go and see.

Debbie Keeley 90 days ago

Impressive circus skills and an entertaining theme running throughout. I thoroughly recommend you go and see this wonderful show. I loved it!

Fantastic! I was amazed by the talent of the artists, the staging, the poetry of this show! The breath taken away by so much beauty!
I think I'll even go see him again.
Bravo Flip Fabrique

Great acrobatics as always, not as funny as previous shows. Breathtaking circus routines are well worth the visit

My goodness, what a breathtaking hour – in more ways than one! It was in no way ironic that Flip Fabrique brought a show set in the depths of winter to Scotland in the depths of summer. They set up the chilling atmosphere beautifully, and kept it going with one extraordinary stunt after another. We saw aerial acrobatics, trampolining, hula hoops, juggling and incredible balancing routines which made us one minute gasp, the next minute laugh, but rarely did we catch our breath! But this is so much more than a succession of fabulous feats. It’s a musical and visual treat, too. Quick costume changes from ski-wear to grass skirts (yes, really!), along with brilliant lighting and smoke effects make this a real treat for the eyes. The central apparatus of a twelve-foot cuboid is put to magnificent use as a cage, a shelter, and a diving platform. It’s also put to spectacular purpose in its own right in the finale (no spoilers here!). Special mention should also be given to musician Ben Nezralla who gives the entire performance its backbone and its poetry. His box-of-tricks piano covers every inch of the stage and even doubles up as an apparatus for some of the tricks. Flip Fabrique have thought of everything. ‘The perfect show for EVERY Fringe-goer.

If you see only one circus act during the Fringe, Blizzard is the family-friendly spectacle you don’t want to miss. It is, quite simply, stunningly good.

I go to see these guys every year at the fringe as they are so great! Amazing acrobats but also entertainers. Always a feel good show. And always one of the best shows I see at the fringe.

Saw this group a couple of years ago and was keen to see them again. A great show and truly awesome acrobatics and strength. We were lucky enough to get some tickets today at the half price hut - I would have paid full price and they are certainly on my list if they return next year.

What a fantastic show!! Entertaining from start to finish. The acrobatics were phenomenal, the live musician was brilliant showing off some great skills and giving great ambience to the different scenes. The performers worked so well together and they pulled off a really great performance. Even the scene changes were thought through so the audience wasn't left waiting during black out scenes. We really liked the comedy parts in it too :-)

Would definitely recommend! 10/10 for us.

I did not enjoy the comedy elements so much as, although entertaining, they detracted from the force of the mesmerising performance. The acrobatics were amazing and we were left in awe of the cast's abilities and interaction. 8.5 out of 10 for us.

The Bilzzard description undersells the performance. It is brilliant!!!! Acrobatics, dance, humour and musicianship all on display at the highest standard. Wow!!!

Absolutely stunning acrobatics, hilarious skits and incredible live music in the vein of Nils Frahm or Ólafur Arnalds, this is a truly unmissable show with breathtaking staging and performances.

It’s said that Inuits have fifty different words for snow. On the basis of this standout physical circus from FLIPFabrique, it would seem Canadians have fifty different backflips for it.The ice cold weather loosely connects each of the routines performed by the members of this accomplished and family-friendly troupe. Whether...

You’ll be hard pushed to find a circus gang with more technical gymnastic ability and joie de vivre than Flip Fabrique. Blizzard contains many of the circus art tropes that have come to be associated with the exuberant young French-Canadian collective. It features plenty of huge, complex group acrobatic numbers,...

With scattered comedy sketches amongst the clever visual poetry of juggling, trampo-wall, acrobatics, areal straps, hula hoops, music alongside a dreamy wintery atmosphere. Blizzard creates a feeling of imagination driven by isolation, fun filled togetherness and an utterly fabulous circus experience.

Blizzard is the perfect combination of breathtaking acrobatics coupled with moments of complete silliness that generate ripples of laughter and gasps of amazement in equal measures. This infectious playfulness is something I love about this circus company and something which is greatly appealing for children. Watching performers having stacks of fun doing something they are truly passionate about is a total treat for everyone involved. Snow ball fights, hula hooping, giant trampolines, evocative live piano, stunning aerial performances and much more are squeezed into this hour of absolute joy !

FLIP Fabrique serve up superior circus. Hailing from Quebec, they’ve become something of a regular fixture at Assembly Hall during the Fringe, and deservedly so. They combine acrobatics (on and off a trampoline), aerial dance, rollerblades, hula hoops, visual theatre, juggling, music and a healthy dollop of clowning – all with...
