This show has great potential, the cast had wonderful singing voices and the band sounded incredible. Sadly, the issue here was so much of the vocals were lost through the band that you missed so much of the story. It was a shame as with the right acoustics I know this would have been a great show.

This seems like it could have been a fun show. The band was a bit too loud, but the real problem was the actors did not project even for the small space. Since I did not know the story and I could not hear what was being sung and even said I totally did not get what was going on. Some of the songs did come across nicely when they were belted out. If you go, get a front row seat in front of the acting area.

A really fun show but it would have been so much better if the performers had mics! I was straining to hear them over the live band throughout

Great show- original and fun script, live Jazz music, engaging cast, good acting and singing.

I highly recommend you go and see this very talented group of students who have written this musical all by themselves! The Jazz music is most enjoyable and is performed by a wonderful band. There are strong vocal and acting performances throughout from all the cast. However, I must say, Mrs Jones most definitely steals the show with her powerful and emotional finale song! Well done to everyone involved and I look forward to seeing what Shotgun Theatre produces in the future!
