Discover Bitty-Bat in this ridiculous physical comedy that will delight and baffle. Audience praise: 'If you love to laugh, then Bitty-Bat is a must-see'. 'Every expression got me cackling!'. 'A truly magical piece of clown art'. Written and performed by Emily Jeffers. 'Strange and hilarious' (BroadwayWorld.com).

I had heard great things about Bitty Bat and was so glad I took a chance on it. Fantastic clowning, great costume and concept, what sets it apart is the Attenborough-esque documentary style and the amazingly unhinged audience interactions. Several people ended up onstage at various points, several characters ended up outside the room at various points. It felt like it would go off the rails at any second, which is a testament to the level of skill involved. Truly joyous and fun, lives up to the hype!

An absolute cracker of a show. Bitty Bat’s engagement with the space, the audience and her sublime clowning skill is enchanting. The degree of emotional engagement with the audience is amazing given communication is through the medium of squeaks! She is a super accomplished performer and I would seek her out at Edinburgh - or anywhere else - again.

Light humour, dark creature, underground space.

It's an amusing story of a bat that you somehow grow attached to by the end, with a lot of drama packed into a really short period of time.
The props are cute, the audience engagement closer to the end is surprising but fun.
Personally, I'm not a huge fan of clownery and pantomime, but it was a delightful experience—I'm glad I made it.

A! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

[The bitty bat show is physical comedy perfected. With a phenomenal performance, the Bitty Bat enchants audiences, with impressive and hilarious physical comedy, set to an endearing and comedic David Attenborough style documentary. A definite hidden gem at the fringe]
