The description does not due justice to this play. With only three performers, a simple set and costumes, and some excellent lighting and sound work, this play captures the scandals and tragedies of the life of Mary Shelly and the pompousness and brilliance of the Romantic period in Europe. Between conversations on poetry, politics, and death with some of the period’s most brilliant writers, we see firsthand the challenging yet colorful lives of these starving poets and the heartaches and inspirations that gave rise to one of history’s most iconic monsters. Would highly recommend it.

The show description is underwhelming for such a great show. The acting is high quality, and the story was engaging from start to finish. If you love Frankenstein, or just want to learn more about Mary Shelley, this show is for you!
