The biggest, gayest set of tales the Fringe has ever heard comes out to play in this theatrical performance-meets-storytelling competition. Featuring diverse, bold, and fabulous LGBTQ+ voices and allies telling 100% true stories from different Fringers every night! Celebrating its international debut (after sold-out runs in the United States), Big Gay StorySlam is an exciting blend of theatre, cabaret and documentary art. There is a place for every story on our stage – do you have a tale to tell? Join us to share your fun, fantastic, queer self at the Big Gay StorySlam!

General venue access

  • Wheelchair Accessible Toilets
  • Accessible entry: Access to the Nightclub is via steps or lift down to Basement level then level access into the performance space. Some additional seating upstairs in the venue.

  • Stairs: 11- 20
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
