Description

European project Beyond Signs premiers at Edinburgh’s first ever International Deaf Fringe with a daring triple-bill show performed by a Deaf-curated International cast of Deaf performers. Bold, visceral and exciting, you will discover and experience art forms unique to Deaf culture such as Visual Vernacular, Sign Poetry and physical theatre with International and national Sign Languages, all of which will be made accessible even to non-signing audiences. Deaf artists will be available after the 40-minute show to answer all of your questions and share their perspectives with the audience.
