I loved this show and saw it three times. The characters have a lot of chemistry, have a depth of emotion that I envy as an improviser, and I was emotionally engaged in their story. In one show I wished it would go on for longer so they could get back together or make peace with each other.

This was fantastic. Many improv shows have made me laugh; this was among the very few that also made me cry. Only one day left for this one, so see it while you can!

The show was a true master class of improvised theatre. The scenes were serious, and hit hard when they needed to, but there was still a very human, grounded comedy to the scenes. The rapport the pair have with one another is incredibly clear. This is one of the best pieces of improvised theatre I've ever seen

One of the best improv shows I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot of improv! I’m even thinking of going back for a second go. Really captured the messiness of real-life relationships, with morally complex characters and emotionally super-intense scenes.

Between Us present another poignant piece of improvised theatre exploring those bits of relationships script writers struggle with. Rachel's inclusion in Alex's families annual cruise getaway gives her what she wanted, but highlight that wasn't what she needed. Caring, funny and respectful of the offer, but letting the characters develop. This one showed diamonds aren't always a girls best friend, and neither is jam. Nothing silly about this amazingly improvised story. They make me want to do improv theater opposed to improv comedy. Check them out!

Gorgeous show! The performers have incredible chemistry. Great to see an improv show that has the guts to be serious while remaining incredibly honest and unpretentious

What an amazing show!
Very powerful. By turns funny, sweet, painful, powerful, and hopeful.
Beautiful acting.

The Wee Review (4/5 stars) 54 days ago

Between Us is an improvised play from Rachel E Thorn and Alex Keen. The actors ask the audience to shout out interesting facts about an Alex or a Rachel they know in their personal life. They then pick an interesting quirk and spin that into a 45 minute long play....

This intimate, improvised play is remarkably sincere, and authentic. The performers take one meaningful fact or anecdote from the audience, about a Rachel or Alex that they know, and spin it out into a full play. There’s a loose structural frame that I assume is consistent – dialogue scene /...
