Including: Boogie Woogie Bugle boy, The Rose, From a Distance, I’m a Woman, Chapel of Love, Wind Beneath My Wings and The Glory of Love. Plus highlights from Midler comedy routines and an explanation of just how Bette inspired Sue to become a West End diva herself starring in Oliver, Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof and Wicked. Also, a puppet version of Beaches! A show that's heartfelt and hilarious in equal measure.

This is such a fun show! Very thoughtful, funny, witty and does wonders when you need a little lift. Would recommend!

The enthusiasm of Sue was infectious. She was a lyrical story teller, interspersing beautifully sung Bette songs with snippets about both Bette’s life & how much having a positive role model shaped her own life & career ,helping her to be proud to stand out from the crowd.
Both she & her co star had great voices that blended so well.

Great fun show, and wonderful finding out a bit about a fantastic character fighting to do stuff her way.

Great show if you are a fan of the works of Bette Midler. The songs illustrate the influence Bette has had on the life of Sue Kelvin and the story was totally believable. I even learned a few things about Bette that I, a life-long fan, did not know

Go see this!!!
I laughed, I cried, I smiled so much. Sue Kelvin is so authentic, so genuine. Such a wonderful performer and storyteller. The time flew by with great songs and stories. Her co-star and the pianist never seen are both excellent as well! I cannot recommend this show enough-a true highlight of my fringe!

Burgess, writer and director captures everything wonderful and attributed to the larger-than-life star/icon Bette Midler. Bringing her story to life through the eyes of her long-standing fan just adds another depth of warmth to her fascinating life story.

Whether you are a lifelong fan of Bette Midler or are familiar with a few of her songs, audiences are bound to leave Bette Midler and Me at least a little bit more obsessed with Bette, and quite a lot more obsessed with Sue Kelvin and Billie Kerr.
