Description

A year ago, the world ended. But the show must go on! Enter an eccentric family, who attempt to keep the Fringe tradition alive for their mutinous underground audience. Feast on a manic tasting-plate of everything that makes this Festival great! This is the international debut of Australian comedy group The Fish Girls. Funny Women and SYTYF semi-finalists, Canberra Theatre Award winners, founders of the Cans Film Festival and hosts of cult Woroni radio show Kumbaya. Doctors hate them! But not because this show is bad, it's for another reason.

With a mother as demanding as Gyspy Rose, a helpless, bumbling father, and an astonishingly mediocre son, this eccentric, show-biz family has quite enough on their plate. Add the end of the world, and hilarity is bound to ensue. The Best Show We’ve Ever Done at the Edinburgh Fringe is a quick-sketch comedy written and performed by The Fish Girls playing at Riddle’s Court and does not oversell.

The Wee Review (4/5 stars) 20 days ago

The Best Show We’ve Ever Done At The Edinburgh Fringe is an aspirational title, but an aspiration that’s easy to meet given this is Australian sketch group The Fish Girls‘ international debut. The trio play a delusional thespian family who haven’t let hammy acting and derivative material dent their self-belief...
