What happens when a comedian walks into a volcano? In 2023, Ben Miller was the artist-in-residence at Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, the first stand-up comedian ever selected. This was probably a terrible idea on their part. Come watch this show where scientist turned stand-up comedian Ben Miller explores volcanology, entomology, Hawaiian history, cats, cookies and more. And yes that photo is real. You will enter thinking there is no way Ben has an hour of jokes about volcanos and you will leave thinking Ben is hilarious and probably somehow has even more jokes about volcanos. A unique, must-see show. Check it out!

Best standup show we’ve seen at the fringe this week out of 15 standup comics we saw; very creative and different.
Would definitely recommend seeing this, especially if you see a lot of standup and want to see something interesting.

This is not the famous British comedian Ben Miller! This is a nerd who talks about geology! Which in my opinion is much better. Very funny show with a great atmosphere.
