Having seen the first half of the show a couple of weeks ago, before it had to be abandoned because of the illness of an audience member, I'm so glad I finally got to see the ending. Ben is a brilliant magician and an excellent entertainer. Definitely one to book for next year.

Having seen this show last year I was disappointed that the content was EXACTLY the same :( Surprised there was no new material for 2019. A bit lazy from the maestro who I admire

As you would expect from a magician – this was magical; amazing and unbelievable. To ensure everyone sees the wonder of the “tricks” Ben performs there are close-up views shown on a large screen.
Prepare to have your mind blown and leave shaking your head in disbelief of what you have seen.

I've always loved magic, to take notice in all the special little magical novelties in everyday life, in our human behaviour- and of course there's always been a fascination with those who can harness that special little vein of human curiosity and wonder and to weave that into a performance. Ben Hart holds such a captivating presence - walking the line between the mysterious illusionist and charming, smirking storyteller; he will draw you into his world and highlight the magic that already exists in ours. Funny, dark, and more than a fair share of dips from reality, I feel so lucky to have been able to catch this show.

There’s a structural elegance to Ben Hart’s 2018 show The Nutshell. While many magic acts conclude with a routine that satisfyingly ties all the different threads and tricks together, few are as audacious as the one he pulls off. Taking inspiration from Frances Glessner Lee’s Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death,...

Ben Hart’s show is to be recommended as an example of a young magician already at the top of his game, and I look forward to catching his full show on its forthcoming tour of the UK.
